The Text Response Report provides data about any patient who responds to an SMS text notification for select practices and timeframe (This Week, This Month, This Quarter, This Year or Custom Date Period). The patient's response will appear under the Text Response column on the report. It will also appear in the Bill History for the bill. This gives staff an opportunity to engage with the patient to resolve their questions or issues.

Users have the ability to filter by communication preference (Both, Email Only, Text Only, Neither). The report provides the following columns:

Column Name Description
Response Date The date of the patient responded via SMS text message
Practice Name The name of the practice to which the patient belongs
Patient Id The unique patient Id for this patient and practice
Patient Name The name of the patient/guarantor
Date of Birth The patient/guarantor date of birth
Phone The phone number for the patient/guarantor
Text Response The content of the SMS text response from the patient
Communication Preference

The patient/guarantor's current communication preference:

E = Opt-Out of Text but will get email

M = Mobile phone only

B = Get text and email

P = Opt-Out of text for this practice

N = Opt-Out of text and email for all practices

Opt-Out Date The date the patient opted-out, if applicable

You can export the report to Excel or CSV format using the Download button. This file will have the same columns as on-screen.
